I think the lead vocal on the song Sail on Sailor by the Beach Boys is by Ricky Fatar, the other South African they brought in when Bruce Johnson left the band for awhile. Oh, and Blondie Chapman played w/ the Band (sans Robbie Robertson, of course) in the '80s.

Thanks Steve for that. I¹ve always loved the Beach Boy¹s Sail on Sailor and
was aware that South African Blondie Chapman was the singer on the recorded
version, but I, A great fan of Butterfield, hadn¹t a clue that Chapman had a
short affiliation with Butterfield.
